Extracurriculars

Ahmed is passionate about being involved in extracurriculars because it is a way to be involved in the community and a way to unwind from academics and work life.

Sports

 

Boxing: Ahmed was ranked 3rd in Cairo in 2019 and a sparring partner for the UAE national team during 2021.

Swimming: gold medal in the 9th Sabis Regional Tournament in Dubai, UAE, bronze medal 50 meters backstroke in Egypt national tournament.

Highschool varsity: multiple 1st place banners in the CISSA Eastern Conference with the Volleyball and Football team, 3rd place in the CISSA with the Basketball team.

 

Photography

Throughout his travels, Ahmed enjoys calling himself an amateur iPhonographer: taking pictures of beautiful scenery using an iPhone. This helps him immortalize the memories of the places he has been to. Ahmed has taken pictures in 3 countries thus far: Egypt, UAE, and Malaysia. Music

From 2015- 2018, Ahmed played the guitar in his free time. He played in 3 concerts in Egypt solo and in a band. His main interest was in Spanish style and solo metal music.

Art

During the transition between high school and college, Ahmed decided to pick up a new hobby. He chose to try painting and tried a couple of projects on his house’s walls. He used to enjoy painting sports figures of Basketball, Soccer, and Boxing.
