Center for Alternative Finance, University of Cambridge

Position: Intern

Duration: 3 months

I worked with Miga Labs to aggregate data about the Ethereum blockchain network. This data was used by the Climate Aspects research team at the center to launch the Cambridge Blockchain Network Sustainability Index. I also helped in launching the Eth2 Network Dashboard about the Ethereum consensus layer.

During this internship I learned and practiced: Go, Python, Metabase, SQL, and Linux.

Simplicity Group (WeDYOR)

Position: Research Analyst part-time

I work in the research department where I rate and assess crypto/blockchain start-ups. I write comprehensive reports about the start-ups to help VCs make investment decisions.

Position: Research Analyst

Duration: 6 months

I worked in the research department, assessing and rating crypto/blockchain start-ups. I pitched the promising start-ups to management to follow-up with investing or incubating.

Applied Interactive Multimedia Laboratory (Prof. Mohamad Eid)

Position: Undergraduate research assistant

Duration: 1 year and 7 months

I worked on 2 papers in the Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) field. I published as first author in the conference proceedings of the AsiaHaptics 2022 conference a paper titled “Effects of Duration and Envelope of Vibrotactile Alerts on Urgency, Annoyance, and Acceptance”. My second paper titled “The Effects of Simulated Driving on Perceived
Urgency Elicited by Vibration Stimulation” has been submitted to the IEEE Transactions on Haptics journal.
