My first blog!

Hi! How are you? I hope all is going fantastic. I am Ahmed, and I decided to take on blogging! This is my first blog so I will be:

1. Introducing myself informally.
2. Talking about why I want to blog.
3. Listing the topics that I want to write about.

Introduction about me

I am Ahmed, a 19-year-old from Cairo, Egypt but I have resided in Abu Dhabi, UAE most of this year. This is because I am studying computer engineering at New York University Abu Dhabi. I am currently in the summer of my Sophomore year (halfway through my bachelor’s degree!) and I couldn’t be more excited to start something that I wanted to do for a while now. I don’t want to spend my first blog talking about my academics or my extracurriculars, let’s keep that for later. Overall, I’d love to say that I am a passionate and driven person. I do what I love and enjoy, or else, I simply won’t do it. Alright, enough about me let’s keep this short and sweet. 🙂

Why am I starting blogging?

There are two things that I love to do, which brought the idea of blogging to me: value creation and talking. If it’s not obvious yet, I enjoy talking (a lot). I’m not going to exaggerate by saying that I want to change the world with my blogging, but I want to benefit at least one person with my lived experiences. I am still at the beginning of my career, but there are tons of things that I learn every day that I would love to share with you!

What are the topics that I want to talk about?

I’m not going to lie and say I have something in mind to write about or that I know everything that I will write about. I have no idea! I want to talk about anything and everything. I want to share what I go through. Be it sports competitions, job interviews, a really hard course in school, or a travel experience; the list goes on and on and on.

Anyways, that’s enough of me talking in one go (I can continue but let me stop for the sake of your precious time). I will be blogging from now on in a consistent manner, hopefully, on a weekly, biweekly, or monthly basis. It will fluctuate! If you want to talk more with me, it would be my absolute pleasure!
